The Stranger
Be warned when you deal with one that is stranger
There is a perpetual light that can lead you to danger
You may find yourself in the woods holding a dim lamp
The sky may be gray and the leaves may be damp
You will search for him, the stranger has once again ran
To a sound in the distance that he could not withstand
You’ll find him in the morning, he’ll tell you he could not stay
Life had knocked on the door and asked him to come play
He speaks as he gazes onto something you cannot see
He’ll come back someday, you trust him, for this is his plea
So you return home and wait, hoping what he promised is true
But the stranger is busy moving mountains, just not for you
He doesn’t have time for the confides of fear and a self-inflicted prison
He’ll leave the woods one day, but only when it’s his decision
He’ll still be wild, no walls to breakdown for there is no foundation
Love him when he comes back through all the pain and frustration
For he’ll return w/ lessons from exotic lands and mysterious traditions
He’ll be ready to love madly, because he’s fulfilled his wild mission
